2. What data we collect and why

A. Contact form submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, phone number or email address, and the message you write. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry or booking request.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
• Retention: We keep form submissions for 12 months, after which they are deleted from our systems.

B. Direct communication (phone, email)

If you call or email us directly, we may keep records of that communication to manage your booking. The same legal basis and retention period applies.

C. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, device type, approximate location). No personally identifiable information is linked to analytics data.

• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent.
• Retention: Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics (the default setting).
• You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon at the bottom of our page and selecting "Decline".

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We use the following third-party processors who handle data on our behalf:

• Netlify, Inc. (hosting & form processing) — stores contact form submissions on servers in the EU/US under Standard Contractual Clauses. Netlify GDPR page.
• Google LLC (analytics, fonts) — if you consent to analytics, data is sent to Google Analytics. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google Privacy Policy.
• Setmore (online booking) — if you use our Setmore booking link, Setmore's own privacy policy applies. Setmore Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

• Functional (no consent required): A single localStorage key (ftx-analytics-consent) that remembers your cookie preference. This is not a tracking cookie.
• Analytics (consent required): Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to track site usage. These are only loaded after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.

You can change your preference at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom of the page.

5. International data transfers

Netlify and Google are US-based companies. When data is transferred to the US, it is done under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, ensuring an adequate level of protection.

6. Your rights under GDPR

As a person in the EU, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are handled by Netlify with encryption in transit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
